Thank you, Frank, I will note the grille coverings in my data.
Is there a machine No.1? I received #2 & #3.
Fran
Fran,
I just have two DD players... I meant to indicate they were the second & third replies... I guest the post index would do that though...

Nevermind me, Frank, I'm just a little thick sometimes, lol. I just realized my mistake.

Hi Fran,
I certainly am on board for your project! I'm a pretty good record keeper (no pun intended) and have all the information for the C-250 that I had from September 3, 2006 (bought at an antique store immediately north of Indianapolis, Indiana) until I sold it to Ron Haring of Plano, Illinois on May 26, 2011.
1. Model Designation (C-250 or C-19): C-250
2. Serial Number:SM 33500
3. Bedplate Pinstriping: No
4. "Official Laboratory" Medallion: Round/Pentagonal/None: Round
5. Exact Wording of the Medallion: "The Model 250 Diamond Disc Phonograph is The Official Laboratory Model"
6. Record Storage: Drawers or Shelves? Drawers
7. Cabinet Wood Type: Mahogany or Oak? Oak
8. Duncan Stop?: Yes
9. Dealer Tag: Name/Address, Location On Machine: None
10. Original Dated Sales Receipt/Shipping Documentation, etc. (Dates are particularly noteworthy): None
11. Grille cloth: was definitely NOT original when I bought it in 2006; in its place was a thin piece of carpet that wasn't doing the sound output any good! I replaced that with a thin, plain cloth, beige color.

Thank you, Matt!
Is the medallion signature exactly as written? Could you check and see if TAE's name is actually abbreviated as; Thos. A. Edison?
