Back again,
Yesterday I contacted George Vollema to see if he had the little metal piece that plugs into the reproducer, he didn't. So does anyone have any ideas on what I could use as the pin for the duncan stop till I track down an original? Many thanks.

Prolly rusted solidly together! Yes, it should unscrew but it's been 30 years (gack) since I took mine apart the first time & I don't remember how. It was a struggle, I do remember that much. I may have bent a screwdriver to fit in that space, then held the block in a bench vise so I could use both hands on the screwdriver.
I'm not sure if this would help, but I was able to modify an offset screwdriver with a bench grinder. This particular screwdriver design was beefy enough to give some needed torque. It's a Husky pro 544-238 with the small phillips blade (and part of the handle itself) ground down for clearance. Here's a link to it on Home Depot's site:

Here are photos of my modification.

It was still hard to get that screw to loosen and I still had to soak it in PB Blaster for a few days, but this screw driver did the trick.

Tom,
You might try searching some antique radio or telephone parts dealers for that connector. I'm pretty sure I've seen some in the past.
