Definitely not traditional Japanese music! More like Puccini. Singer has a lovely voice; reminds me of Galli-Curci.

That seems to be correct based on comparison with Youtube cuts of that title. However, copyright no longer applies to the composition since Von Suppe died in 1895!

Surprise to me! Definitely not in the same style category as the oft-played and recorded overture to "Dichter und Bauer" (Poet and Peasant).

Mostly pre-1930 traditional Japanese music and bunraku. Almost 6 hours of recordings. Whew!
