I agree with Estott, the jewel points to play Diamond Discs are rather expensive.
Since these are no longer made, you have to use old stock and some of them have bad tips and worn out, so check them carefully before using them. I am hoping with the new Bruce Diamond project that we will see replacements for these in the future, as so many "off brand" independent models can use these stylus.
Best,
Jerry

The vertical adapter shouldn't be too hard to find, I bought mine at the Danbury Conn show for a buck. But, like the the other guys said, if you don't have perfect nos stylus don't use it.

Given your earlier comment about the greater risk of damage to Edison discs, maybe I'll just concentrate on the sapphire stylus for now! Thanks for the tips!

I've used the jewel point from my Cheney to play a diamond discs on both my Cheney and my Silvertone- it doesn't cause horrible damage but there is some. Sound quality was not that bad though.

Thanks for the tips. Given your earlier comments about the risk of damage to Edison discs, I think for now I'll just concentrate on looking for a sapphire stylus.
