Jerry, That's definitely a keeper unless you want to trade for that Model A ride?!?!?!?!?

Jerry what fantastic condition. This is the type of machine no matter how common tends to stay in my collection. You don't get tired of looking at pristine condition machines. I wonder why the lid handle is not green also.
Best Regards, Larry

Well, not quite - - I thought it must have a Milan 1906 label on the back of the lid!
I have a Q here that's later (No.990971), but it isn't nearly as green:
Evidently, the use of vivid green stain wasn't a purely chronological development. We collectors like to have these things fit into nice, logical categories, don't we?
Thanks again for sharing that beautiful Q, Jerry.

Congratulations Jerry. Like everyone else said, this is a beauty. Hard to imagine it is over 100 years old. I wonder where it was stored to survive so well?

I can't take my eyes off that one. It is a beauty. I had one that I bought back around 1993, still had nice paint, but about 70 % of the decaling was in place. I will say that mine was pristine, but had to sell it as we sometimes need the money. Now I regret it.
Jerry, yours looks even better than mine. I think it probably looks the same as it did when it left the factory. In this huge country, I often wonder...there are probably a few mint examples of various machines in crates etc.

Machines in this rare condition must give the best idea of how they ran & sounded when consumers were shopping for them 100+ years ago.

This is something I have wondered about.
I originally assumed that my handle had been swapped, but obviously that is not the case.
You would have thought that they would have stained the handle to match the case.
BTW my serial No is 993693.

Alistair.
