Has anyone else read all the way at the bottom of the description page where it states "Most phonographs will be sold without the horns as per the owners request."

I was hoping that applied to the large number of Edison homes etc in one of the shots. Hopefully they won't split up the trademark, operas, etc. If you read the descriptions many of them state with horn, however there are some exceptions like the trademark A (#74)which is pictured with a horn but not described with one. I have e-mailed the auctioneer for clarification and will post his reply if I get one.

Wyatt,
I'll stand next to you with a cup of coffee in my left hand and a drool cup in my right hand, so I'll be unable to raise my bidder's number!
I can dream about owning the Bijou, Home Grand, Lever Wind Berliner, BC, Gem D, and several others.
It's free!

Just for clarification....there is no trade mark machine being sold. It is a lever wind Berliner...

True, but their description of the type A (74)is VICTOR TALKING MACHINE TYPE A, TRADEMARK, SN 7867, W/THE NEW CENTURY REPRODUCER

By the way, does Mark Gaisser (aka Croakinfrog) attend these eastern events? I am wondering where he gets the machines he disassembles and sells for parts (to maximize his profits).

Per the auctioneer
Good morning,
The only players that will not have horns will be Edison Players, like the homes, standards, Triumphs, gems, unless they might have a cygnet or something special. The Victors, Berliner, Bijou, Girard and others will have their horns as they are pictured in the photos. I guess I should clarify that better in the ad. Thanks for bringing it up.
