And I would never find a model F cabinet.

You never know, but it would indeed be a very lucky find! :)

I just told him to send me a Victor P instead of the Triumph. I don't want to look for parts. Its the same guy I got the Victor one with the flowered horn from. I will get a couple of good boxes.

Would the Model F Triumph have a horizontal carriage for a Diamond B or O reproducer? Didn't the carriage change with the Model D Triumph?

Yes Harvey, you are right. The F also used the same cabinet as the Opera.

From what I know only the late Triumph F had the Opera case. Most Triumph F's came with the same case as a D or E model. I have no info on when the transformation might have happened. I have seen the F in both types of cases.

That's good to know. I can get the machine at a very good price, but getting the right cabinet would be tough. It is an early one, so I would think the D case would be right?

Jerry and Larry are right - - it seems the late Fs were in the Opera-type cabinet, while the earlier Fs are generally seen in typical Triumph cabinets. :)

The early ones were in a D style cabinet. I had an F and it was in an oak Opera cabinet. The SN of Opera cabinet Fs is in the 90,000 range.
