Just to clarify....Sears brand was Silvertone....

.
Also, Sonora relied on "others" to supply components (unlike the major US companies).
Parts like motors, reproducers, pitch controls,etc.....were made in Switzerland by Paillard.
Their bombe cabinets are outstanding. The matching record cabinet with a machine make a lovely pair and quite rare to find together.

There are several models of these machines: Baby Grand, Grand, Elite, Invincible and Supreme. Yours appears to be an elite, although Elite models typically have scalloped door bottoms and yours look straight from your pic. A front pic with the doors closed would clear that up and show whether the doors ended like that or are enclosed in a bottom casing. Also, your grill seems to be a design variation, but I don't know how many different designs were made
Yes I have a separate scalloped door bottom. So I am back to my original thought Elite. Thanks for the clarification. I have checked every square inch for markings but came up empty. They are beautiful machines and would love to see more pictures of the one for sale.

Thanks Curt. Wish my camera did it justice (blasted flash). My wife found this machine in West Va. eons ago and outbid another woman who stated she was not leaving without it

I never asked what she paid for it and she never offered to tell me.. The entire finish was like a piece of 220 grit, it came out rather nice. Cheers
