Strobesheets???1?!? We don't need no stinkin' Strobesheets.

Invest in a digital handheld laser tachometer like suggested.

They are like 10 bucks off of ebay.

When I got mine and tried it, my main concern was, why in the world did it take me so long. Accurate, a piece of cake to use, and instant results.

Just because you are working on a machine from 1910, doesn't mean you can't use tools from the 21st century!

I believe there have been some advancements since then! :o)

You should probably use kerosene lamps when working on windup phonographs. BTW: they didn't have strobes back then either.
For the record, strobes and digital tachs each have their place and I use both.
