I think you got a real buy there. As far as the comparison to the small victor, it may sound about the same, but the cabinet in my mind is much nicer.

Thanks - I'm almost done with the cabinet which is turning out really nice. It sounds great - before I bought it played a record for kicks and heard the dreaded whine of a stripped gear which turned out to be a bone dry motor. Hopefully I will be finished in several days but I agree the cabinet convinced me I could not just walk away from it.
