If it is the same machine, it last sold in Germany 6/18/2005, for about $40,000.oo US Dollars!
I'm guessing the reserve might be quite high!
Yes, it is the same one that sold in Germany. I think the current seller is just using the same pictures in the listing. I'm pretty sure it's a legitimate offering.

I can assure the members the listing is 100%. However, a potentially high reserve is also quite correct... ;).

Proceed with caution.However...I would assume that with a potential purchase of this caliber, one would do so naturally.

I see no reserve with this auction, so from the outside it looks like a true auction.
It will be interesting to see if the auction runs to the end and what it sells for.
I also find the end of the mandrel odd looking with the four, what ever they are on it.

Is this really the way an original Idelia looks like. The pictures make it look hideous at best. The last pic appears to show a black horn.

Just my opinion of course. LOL

Of all my father's machines that were sold, I miss his Idelia the most!

And I'd be tempted to bid on this one if his hadn't just sold this summer for $11,000. (With an O and a Music Master)

I don't know how the two compare wrt condition, but I will be *very* interested in the outcome of this auction...

(Anyone else selling an Idelia?)

This is a reserve auction. Also, 2 bids were retracted. I would be very cautious with this unless you can see, pay, and pick it up in person.

This Idelia is from Richard Wright, who I believe is a Forum member. He has a beautiful collection and is downsizing.

I looked at pics of some of his stuff and it is beautiful, but pricy.
