Nathan, I'm sorry you missed out on this one, but I'm gonna say something I hate hate hate anytime anyone says it to me: Never say never. Lookit how cheaply I got mine last year, and I really wasn't even trying. So much of collecting is just dumb luck, but keep your eyes peeled on your local Craigslist -- frequently, because good machines go fast -- and you'll get your XVI -- or XVII, or even XVIII -- yet. You just never know what's gonna pop out of the woodwork. (Prime example: the XX! that Curt A just happened upon last year!) Best of luck to you!

There are more around Buffalo, believe me - this area had tons of money for such luxuries, 100 years ago. I still have this critter's renamed, electric replacement in my car (VE-120) which was unwanted for months before I finally bought it. An electric Credenza sat unwanted for almost a year before I bought it for $50, despite me sharing it via this forum. Don't give up on finding affordable goodies - just keep looking.
