Did this sell at the auction in South Jersey last summer? I thought it had a very high reserve and didn't sell.

There were only two built the other was destroyed in a fire, that one actually looked like a piece of furniture, this one looks like the patent drawing model.

Hi Chuck

Yes this was at an auction then end of the summer in Cape May County NJ. I went to the preview but was not impressed with anything they had other then this huge machine. I took a few pic's but never returned the next day for the auction.

You nailed it James. That is definitely the machine I saw, I did not see a horn anywhere on the site but that's the machine... Don't know the where about of this machine since that day.

I believe the machine was bought by a friend of mine. I seem to recall it being posted on here when it was at auction.

I like it in a Heath Robinson sort of way but it is entirely useless if you have to get up to change the needle before you sit down again to press the buttons to change the record!

Victor had multi play Tungs-Tone needles on the market & there were others - probably what this machine used.
