Period Victrolas always had high quality from gold to special finished hardware. For example the wide model Gothic hardware has a hammered or distressed finish right down to the little knob on the speed control. Jerry B.

Yep, either one of those aftermarket cabinets you could buy to plop your IX into to make it look like you owned a more expensive machine, or a cabinet for something else adopted for that purpose.
