She's also the dreadful "Mrs. Haemoglobin" in WC Fields's surrealistic "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break."

Mae West is a good choice. Of course, she was also in a movie with Fields, "My Little Chickadee." But my favorite Fields female adversary is Kathleen Howard.
