The material they use to do car wraps is basically a big decal. If you have a high resolution image of the Nipper logo, you could get it made into a permanent image on your car. You know when you see a car on the road with advertising photos all over it? A friend of mine worked for a company who did car wraps and I asked him if they could print out a mural for a wall. He asked and it turned out they could. I scanned a little 5x7 inch Disney painting I had at 1200 dots per inch and gave it to them. After a couple of color correction tests, they came by with the image on long rolled up sheets of plastic film with sticky backing. They rolled it out onto the wall and smoothed out a couple of seams and it was perfect. You can stand right up close and not see any printing artifacts. The wrap can stand up to weather and lasts virtually forever if you take care of it.

Thanks for the info. The mural looks great. Especially when it started from such a small print. It is quite amazing what can be done now a days.

I always have fun playing records on my HMV 102 at Motor Muster which was last weekend at Greenfield Village. There are always people stopping by to listen to the music throughout the day. In the 1940 section, I always seem to luck out and get placed next to a fellow phonograph collector. This year I had a gentleman next to me with a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr who is a collector from Ohio. We had a great time giving the HMV a workout. Of course, I always have a few copies of "In the Mood" handy, since the title of the song is emblazoned on the back of my car!
