Thanks for posting. I have always thought that these table top XI cabinets are elegant.

And look forward to seeing what you learn about the Condon auto stop, something new to me.

Very nice! I'm a sucker for Oak.

The Condon Autostop does work, but I'd suggest replacing the rubber on the bottom first, it needs to be able to "grab".

Anyhow, nice find!

As others have already stated, "It's a beautiful machine."
The finish makes it that much more attractive and special.

Originally, the Condon Autostop had three soft rubber pads beneath the weight. Those pads have by now turned to rock, but the original rubber would have applied much more friction to the record once it was engaged. :)
