They look like they would be great in, for example, Edison C 250 drawers to keep the records separate and free from banging against each another.
Thanks
John
John,
I don't know how rare they are but i don't think they are separated from the phonograph if can be helped!I have been looking for a set for quite awhile. That's all i can tell in my opinion.

Hi Eric, What I am getting at is, aside from them not being original, would it be possible to make copies of these to use simply to prevent our records from getting damaged by knocking against each other, so, what I would like to know is what kind of material these are made from and their dimensions including thickness, whether or not they are felt covered etc.If you or anyone else can answer this question it could be helpful to all of us.
Thank you Eric.

Hi Billybob,

Those that sold here are for a W-250. They are not the right ones for a C-250, (even though the index card appears to picture an A,B or C-250. The index card is the same for A, B, &C 250 as well as the W-250 and others but the dividers are shaped differently. They are not rectangular. They are much deeper in the center but cut out on the corners. Also, the cards are cut differently for the upper and lower drawers of the C-250, so you'd need two sets of 50 cards with a different shape. They are made from a heavy brown paper with a waxy coating. Sorry I don't have a set here I could post a picture of.

If your objective is to protect your records, you might consider what I've done in the picture below. I purchased 10" green sleeves from Bags Unlimited and cut the corners in the same place where you are directed to cut them on the older original Diamond Disc jackets. Then I put the jackets in 10" plastic liners, also cutting the corners. The smooth plastic makes them slide easily in and out of the drawer, no catching and tearing the labels etcetera.

Pictured below is an A-250 with a mixture of original Edison jackets that already had the corners cut and the new green jackets, both originals and new jackets put into plastic sleeves. They get a little bit tight in some of the slots as this machine has individual wooden dividers but this approach works much better on a C-250 where each slot holds about 10 records. :monkey:

Thanks very much for the tip. If I get no offers for the C250 cards, I'll try that method !!
