Yes! I do, and for me the quest has just begun. I feel a little embarrassed to admit that the recordings have been secondary to my fascination of the machinery.

I'm a bit odd in that regard, I think. Looking back on my life, I've realized I've always been this way: my audio obsession has always centering around the devices used for reproduction.

Not that I haven't appreciated recordings, I have, and I've even played several musical instruments; not very successfully, however. ;)

I can thank my late father, "the electronics engineer" for my oddity. In this regard we were very similar.

I had been meaning to subscribe to the APS for the past year, well your article on the Chippendale finally got me too. So congratulations there, I also sent a subscription to a friend who contracted the bug :? from me. I initially was looking to collect a few outside horn cylinder machines, something inexpensive yet cool looking 8-) Anyway, here I am with an early and late DD machine, along with hundreds of DD records. So thanks again for your contribution,I will be waiting for your next article with anticipation. :coffee:
