A good friend of mine used to have an oak sheet music cabinet like that. The one he had came out of a music store and there's supposed to be a lever attached to the door that pulls the rack towards the used and the bottom shelf comes out the furthest. I think he said it had empty boxes for guitar strings and some other oddball stuff in it. He liked the cabinet, but the space above the glass wasn't really meant for anything to set on and the space under the glass wasn't much good for anything either. He must have gotten more out of it than he thought it was worth as I haven't seen it over there for a long time now.

If you buy it you could make it into an unusual fantasy coin-op cabinet like the German one mentioned in another thread... http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 14&t=23887 Just remove the shelves, put in cylinder drawers and an Edison Standard in the top and... voila... you have a "rare" one of a kind machine to re-list on eBay for big bucks... :?
