Thanks for sharing the pics, John! I hope next year I can get to Union. Just wasn't in the cards this year for me. That XVIII looks pretty nice, so does your former ortho schoolhouse! Don't know which of them I'd choose should I have an extra $2200 lying around (which I don't!) :(

That VV-XVIII is pretty cheap isn't it? I really like that model, but I'm sure the first one I saw sell on ebay was about 18 months ago & fetched about 10K??

no, you must be thinking of a different model. there were two XVIII's on ebay during the past few months in the US... one was in NJ and sold for about $2800, the other was in CA if I remember correctly with an opening bid of about $2200 or so but I don't believe anyone ever bid.
