Ah, that's indeed a nice idea! Is that done by some heir of the owners of the Regina brand? Or perhaps by some historician/collector as an incentive, so that Regina machines collectors would be more inclined to communicate the S/N of their units?

Thanks, Clay, for scanning your certificate! :)
Marco, the certificates come from the Musical Box Society International. We have a copy of the factory records. A 1974 article about how that came to be is attached. (Of course the info in the article about how you would have gotten a certificate then is now obsolete.)

Attractive? I got a "certificate" within the past few months and it's a black & white photo copy on a ½ sheet of copy paper. Nothing attractive in my opinion. It would have been nice if it had at least been printed on card stock. I was disappointed in the physical product, although I'm grateful for the information which to me was worth the 5 bucks.
:(

PS: I can't even remember where I put the darn thing... probably inside one of my P&F books some place. ;)

Well, admittedly I received my certificate in 1984. It's printed on off-white card stock. I guess the bad economy has finally reached everywhere... ;)

I may be able to get something going on an improvement. Stay tuned.

Our guy who handles these tells me that its already been done. The graphics have been cleaned up and the certificates reprinted on better stock.

I am not certain. You could check with Bob Yates, whose address appears earlier in this thread.
