Hopefully that’s just a matter of time, although I have no clue how many phonograph collectors there are in Norway—I assume that you’re not the only one. If so, you need to hurry up and get married, have children, and raise them to join you in your hobby.

While I really don’t think we have members from all of these countries, I think it’s rather impressive to see that the interest is out there, and that this hobby really does have an international community. Hopefully as time goes by, our non-American demographic will continue to grow—both John and I are proud to continue to provide a friendly forum for phonograph collectors to discuss their machines and music, even if John is still winding down his hiatus from the internet.

I only know of one big collector in Norway as the Norwegian market isen't the best in the world. I get most of my stuff from the USA, but I get some 78's from Norway.

Paal, you must pay a small fortune in shipping costs to have records sent to you from the United States. I'm sometimes tempted to bid on records from Europe or Australia but usually decide against it when I become aware of the exorbitant shipping charges. Rocky

I usually pay about $25-30 for shipping. And I think it's rather expensive.
Sometimes the records cost less than shipping!
When it comes to the shipping part, I sometimes wish I lived in the USA so I wouldn't pay so much money to get the records.
