Heh Aaron, I am with you. That nickeled Triumph is amazing!! When all the top works are the same color you actually lose the contrast between the parts. It's almost too much nickelling. You really do need a nice contrasting cabinet to set the machine off. Those spun glass horns don't really do much for me. Probably because I wouldn't trust a klutz like myself not to break it. I would rather have a nickelled or flowered morning glory horn. O.K., I know I can't afford it, so I am going to ask the question - How much was it?

Here are a few more photos from this years show. Sorry I didn't get prices because I was too busy. Enjoy!

I looked at all the portables that turned up but didn't find one that I wanted. I did see a couple of VV-50's that looked nice, but I wanted an orthophonic portable. The quest continues.

Re: Some photos from Union
as for a price on the triumph, I would think 20 to 30k for it. 30 to 40k are what M class and electric concerts under glass normally go for.

Aaron, sorry I didn't get a better shot of that one. I don't know if it's a Columbia or not because I don't pay too much attention to that brand, but it is a treadle powered machine!Aaron wrote:3vic... Is that a North American Phono Co. The treadle machine is a Bell & Tainter shaver.
