I'm in the group that says rebuild it yourself.
I was just a kid when I did my first one, there's not much to screw up. Mostly just cleaning and replacing parts. Very easy to adjust the needle bar and wax seal the diaphragm screw.
There's always plenty of help on this forum for questions. If after trying it first yourself you can't do it than you can send it off.
After you have rebuilt your first reproducer, you will have more confidence to tackle other reproducers or repairs.
