I had these available at the Wayne show for $125. The new idea was, that it would connect to a variety of machines and not only to just type (which is the basic idea for patent application). It comes with a set of interchangeable adapters that will connect most machines using Victor long throat, European fittings (19mm), No. 2 and 4, as well as Orthophonic and, of course, Edison Diamond Disc. I had these custom-made. There is also an adapter to be used with Edison horns via a rubber tube.
The unit I used has this great connectivity but was soon discontinued and I haven't found the time to re-bounce yet. I have a few left at a friend's place. Right now, there's one with me here and I might be able to assemble one more.
