Hello I'm Nick AKA VictrolaBoy. Here is a picture of my diaphragm. Made of shellaced paper and cork. The link is made of three strands of button thread. This is the design Larry H really likes. I'm still trying to perfect it but so far I'm liking the sound it's producing. I'm a musician so I'm also very picky about tone.
Glad to meet you, Nick.

Hope you're not intimidated by the strong interest some of us show in new diaphragm designs for Edison phonographs. But it's all good. I'm open-minded: the ear will be the judge. I'm not against anyone's efforts; just want Larry to know that he shouldn't abandon all the work he's done on his.
I'm eager to give yours a whirl once you've got some for sale.
Ralph

Nick,
Your diaphragm looks great. I have an Edisonic reproducer in need of a new diaphragm and would be very eager to try one.
