What a great old cantorial record. Cannot say I've ever seen one on Pathé before. I am a shirt tail relation to Cantor Isador Kushner, and grew up with a lot of his records. That and the old Yiddish comedies. Thank you for sharing. Mike Wohl

I know I have a Pathé Actuelle in Hebrew but I forget who's on it edisonplayer.

Only yesterday I discovered that Rafael Ruwinsky was also an operatic tenor. This poster lists him in the role of Canio in a production of Pagliacci which appears to have taken place somewhere in Hungary in September 1921.
Whether this was before or after he became a cantor I do not know.

I have a few Victor Yiddish discs. I have to write down who they are someday.
