Congratulations on a fine machine Ben. There are many nice and helpful members on this board. It's good to have some young collectors coming along. I started out collecting phonographs in my teens about 44 years ago!

Congratulations to your new VV-XVI. I have a little bit earlier L-door myself and it is my preferred machine for playing records. You will get a lot of enjoyment out of that machine.

And a note in case anyone is wondering about the nickel reproducer: I just stole it off my VV-IV while I wait for parts to rebuild it...

Congratulations Benjamin. Your XVI is a beauty and having the original receipt is great!
My first antique phonograph purchase was a Victrola XVI when I was 13 (or is that XIII?). 48 years later, I still have it, and I hope you enjoy yours for at least that long!

(Mine didn't come with the receipt, darn it...)

Congratulations Benjamin,
Beautiful Machine!
The early Victor Victrola's are awesome, super well built machines.
You just gotta love em'.
