Thanks for your comments, epigramophone. I'm always learning from those more knowledgeable than I (IOW, practically everyone!) on this forum. Even though, as you say, the 162 may be no match for the Orthophonics, I still find the cabinet very attractive. I'd be tempted to trade my XI for it!
