Nice machine I have the exact same one.

Does yours have grille cloth Pathé? Since my grille is not removable I wonder if the grille material in my Silvertone is original? It looks vintage but it also looks more like a radio type of grille cloth. (?)

All Silvertone machines of this vintage that I have seen use a very thin silk material much like gauze or cheesecloth

Since the grille does not remove, I will have to remove the motor board again, take out the wood horn, elbow, and replace the grille cloth with the correct silk. Another evening project in the kitchen haha :lol:

I wonder why my Silvertone grille is not removable - it looks like the front is all one piece, unless the grille has been glued in permanently for some odd reason (?)

It was cheaper to build these table models without a removable grille.
