What is the title of the Tango? Judging by the tempo I'd guess it to be from 1914-1916 when the Tango was newly introduced to America and it was being danced as a One-Step.
It is #1756 La Bella Argentina. I played that this past Saturday on my Opera for a friend who is a tango fan.

La Bella Argentina- 1912. Written by Carlos Roberto, but the sheet music indicates it was used in a Broadway show of the era, which would explain the brisk tempo.

finished the lid today, and installed it.
of the 2 gears i needed for it, i pressed one ring gear off a spare Edison Standard D 2/4 double gear i had, and I am now searching for the sister double gear (the shift gear) similar to the one you would have on a Standard D or a Fireside. the one new gear quieted it down 50%! I'll be a little late posting mew pictures, as I am under a pile of work!
currently, I need to find a woodworker to make a piece of missing trim on the grille. shouldn't be too hard!

Wyatt,
Do you still plan to preserve the original grill finish for documentary purposes and go with reproduction grill(s) in natural, (silver), and gold trim?
