Yes, the early Amberolas. Some were maroon, some were brownish, depending on the model.
And some of the early DDs...

Whoever repainted the top works forgot about the pin-striping and decorative corner 'tufts of grass ' ! Remember though , Edison machines and parts were supplied in bright paint colour options in some countries -- Australia springs to mind where original Edison cygnet horns turn up occasionally in paint colours other than black. You can tell the case was refinished in the late 70s early 80's the decals at this time did not have the triangle for the I. I recall some poor decals, had a round i some had half moons, the ones that did have the triangle had a greenish cast to the gold, or other decals were a bit to thick in letter size.
