Did they make a Blue Amberol version of the "D" Series Specials?..
There was no Blue Amberol repeat of the D Series of wax Amberols. The D cylinders are hard to find. I have only seen four, as below.

There was also a Hebrew Special series only released on wax Amberol, Nos.L-W (no 'N') as below:

Sp.L New York Military Band Fier dzecks marsch, die
Sp.M Henton, H Benne Szenen wos seinen die Lebendigste
Sp.O American Symphony Orchestra Dem nosir's glok overture
Sp.P Prince, Alexander Hop skotsch, a barn tanz
Sp.R Schwiller, Jean Jocelyn - Serenada fun malochim
Sp.S Paskal, Simon Mentsh zol men zayn, a - A
Sp.T Prager, Regine Schenkt a Neduwe
Sp.U Simonoff, Frances Ben ami Dus fertriebene Teibele
Sp.V Smulewitz, Solomon Yudische Chupe, a
Sp.W Johann Strauss Orchestra Oif dem scheim bloiem Dunai (Op.314)

I have never seen one of these and don't know what colour the box was. Any ideas?

Hope this adds to the thread

Keith

You can see the entire list of 24 Special D’s by referring to physical pages 179 – 180 in the following link of Wendell Moore’s Edison Phonograph Monthly, Volume 8

As Keith mentioned, there was also a Special Hebrew Series, L – W.
These are exceptionally hard-to-find and were featured in a MAPS, “In The Groove” publication a few years ago. I believe the boxes were the same as the Special A, B, C …. series

You can see the listing of L – W by referring to physical page 201 in the following link of Wendell Moore’s Edison Phonograph Monthly, Volume 9
