Thank you for your help.

Is that a blue amberol? Can they play on standards?

Another question. Can I play brown wax cylinders with a model C reproducer? Or would it be better if I purchased another reproducer like a Model B?

Brown wax requires a Model B or an Automatic reproduce. Standards can play BA's if it has a 2-4 minute gearing and a 4 minute reproducer such as a Model H or a combination reproducer like a Model K.

Edison Automatic, B, D

Would all of these fit on my standard?

I am not certain off the top of my head if the Automatic will, but the Model B will fit.

An Automatic won't fit unless it has the notch filed at 12 o'clock. But PLEASE don't do that. I've seen them come up every now and then where somebody has already done that. A model B reproducer will be cheaper and will work fine for brown wax.

Martin

The D is for a Concert, and although it would fit, it might not function properly.
