Bruce Diamonds and Larry's Diaphragm

Great News! My Edison DD reproducer arrived today from Steve Medved. I had enough time to play one record today before work "Chicago" by the Stevens Trio, and this reproducer blows the expert stylus out of the water! The sound is great plenty of bass and wide range of volume. I have heard the original NOS and Expert stylus and many times they sound like a knife on glass, very flat and you hear alot of record surface noise. With the Bruce Diamond, Larry's diaphragm and Steve's expertise in rebuilding, its just marvelous. I recommend anyone with a Diamond Disc machine to send their reproducer off to Steve and it will be professionally rebuilt.

Just some FYI, I found out from Steve that my reproducer is actually a very late rarer model DD reproducer, due to the higher serial number. From what I remember he said that the later ones were more improved.

"Bruce" is a company, not a person, and AFAIK, is currently only selling Diamond Disc styli through Steve Medved.

"Larry" is "larryh" on the board. You can contact him directly to see if he's selling his diaphragms directly or not.

I have currently one diaphragm running under the True Tone name on ebay.. I sold three last week and have some others in the works.. You can also as suggested PM me here on this group as some have done.
