If the BIN figure is daunting, perhaps it might be good practice to set a minimum bid/reserve price on it to encourage bidders.

That is a very nice example of a gold brass Orthophonic reproducer.
However, I believe that if you are claiming it to be "ready to install", it should have a new isolator/rubber flange. Since it is brass, there shouldn't be a problem removing the old one. The one that is currently on it is cracked, most likely rock-hard, and impedes performance, particularly in the bass range. Since it is already splitting, that should make the removal and replacement even easier.
There is a pretty cool tutorial on how to make your own isolator if you feel that the new ones (supplied on eBay and from Ron Sitko) are too hard.
