The way the horn is set in the second picture looks perfect for a DJ setup. I wonder if that was its original purpose. Otherwise you won't bang your head on it when it faces the front of the machine.

Never seen one of these before this week; I was just editing the 1908 edition of Talking Machine World, which has lots of adds for this horn. It is strikingly odd, but still a fascinating chunk of horn history.
