Vulcan and Berlin cylinders are great. I bought one week ago this edition of Caruso's "La donna è mobile" on a yellow plastic cylinder by Berlin. A very good preservation work.

It is not on Norman's current list. Is it a previous issue that you bought in the after market?
Thanks.

I know the author of the thread. He is looking for more traditional cylinder music, certain titles that would be on cylinders, not the hot jazz and fanciful titles wanted, but certain titles he heard in his youth. The author however has been looking for certain titles for many years. I have made a few of these titles for him. You might want to list some titles you are looking for and see if some list members have them.
http://www.78rpm.com/ Is a good auction to start to look for titles.

I bought my copy of that Caruso yellow cylinder for about 110.00 on ebay last year. I think someone is selling these in Germany, not sure if it is Norman. This is truly a nice 2 minute opera cylinder. I do not think this was an originally released cylinder. I believe this is taken from a Victor recording on red seal record.
Norman has 3 re-issues of Caruso on cylinder which I also have. These are nice copies of the originally recorded cylinders by Caruso.
Caruso's work will mostly show up on Victor 78's.
