John,

What did you get on DD? Any wild rollicking dance band tunes?

John threatened to play that scary Okeh for us but happily, never got around to it.

If he has a digital camera that can record video, it could rapidly be the #1 video on all of YouTube. :D

Did you have as much fun at the show as everyone else seemed to?

WJW,
Played it on the XII upon returning to Palmetto and with the undulating Lauri circling me and the Victrola wearing grass skirt and coconuts and telling the story with her hands ("The High Peaks of Hawaii") . . . it really didn't sound too bad! John M

John,

Obviously Apple needs to hurry up and get you a combination-video-recorder-and-YouTube-uploader application on your iPhone. ;)

...I’d offer to write you one, but I still haven’t tried my hand at programming for it.

Do you have any other exciting tales from Orlando?

LOL! Perhaps for now it is best that app is NOT available! Not too many other tales, but the demise of boards and the fate of the others was a hot topic amongst those who even care about such things (and there are plenty who don't). I could have dropped $30K in the first 15 minutes I was there, easy. John M

It's great to meet people like John and Lauri (my wife-unit wouldn't go near that show!). Had a fine time. Sorry to have missed the interpretive dance, but now that it's done you can donate the Okeh it to the local gun club for skeet or send it to Jim C.

WJW,

Did you get to see Jim C. at the show? (I have no clue if he went, or was going to go.)

After color-correcting two photos for him (and fixing the aspect ratio on his avatar), I wonder if he has any non-Aloha shirts. ;)

He seems like a great guy, though, from what little I have talked to him.

I think I saw a Hawaiian shirt at the show on Saturday, but Jim C. wasn't in it.
