Olga Steeb's sides are also excellent. Pianist Carlos Valderrama made some fine sounding records, primarily of his "Incan" music which is not to my taste. Of course Rachmaninoff made discs but while they are of great musical interest their sound isn't the best.

I believe that this is one of the "earliest" commercially recorded piano solo's on an indestructible record.

Black & White Rag by Albert Benzler, on Lakeside Indestructible cylinder #380, (June 1911).

The Black and White rag is nicely recorded. Again does anyone here own any recording equipment from U.S. Everlasting,Lambert, or Indestructible Record Corp, any information on the studio setup, or recorders.

I have 2 piano solo 2 minute cylinders.
One is on the non titled Edison gold moulded cylinder called 'violets' by frank bantor, and another I have is a British edison bell 2 minute of Mendelssohn Rondo capriccioso.

I know Albert bensler did some 2 minute piano solos for edison toi, but not popular
