Found a local place:
$140 for custom knife - need sacrificial piece than can be cut to laser scan to make knife
$60/hr shop time (1-2 hrs for setup and running)
$XX for dimensional quartersawn white oak
$60/hr (1-2 hours) for secondary operation (cut to length, round one corner on each)
EST COST: $260-$380 for finished molding, not including cost of wood
Do any other models share the same profile of trim?
How many people would be interested in sharing costs? I don't have the spare $$ at the moment to do a run on my own and sell sets on eBay...

If you use the model B Tall style moulding (with the bottom lip) as a pattern, the end product can later be trimmed down to fit the Late Style (model D and up) which has no bottom lip. The fellow that did the reproduction pieces 15 years ago did it that way so it could be used for both.(I'm sorry I forgot his name - he did business as "World of Wind - Ups".) The same moulding would also fit some of the later model A New style lids (sporadically starting in the 140,000s). Good luck on the project!

Thanks Martin! It'll be a while before I alone could do it. Not sure what the demand is for these parts since I've only been at this a few months.

Have you tried George Vollema? I got a moulding for my AT from him: a Standard B should not be too much of a problem.

Hi Mike, I think I might have what your looking for.
Here are a few pics of a Standard B lid I would let go of. It's in pretty good shape, no veneer separation
but it does have one small piece missing on one of the side moldings and a couple of nicks on the top.
The front and rear moldings are just fine.
PM me if your interested.
Thanks, Dave
