And the only proper horn would be the straight 12 panel mahogany wood grain with and "Ideal" decal, really an almost impossible find. One could though take a Triumph horn in need of paint and have it wood grained, have a decal made up. Steve Farmer or others could oxidize a crane. Here's an Ideal with the proper horn.

I don't see where the shipping costs are stated...
As for the horn, a really nice accessory horn, maybe a mahogany bodied one, would be a nice fit and somewhat legitimate, if an original horn is not to be found.

$129.84
I wouldn't want this sent by UPS or Media Mail...

As Harvey Kravitz would say... "It's above my pay grade." (that, in spite of the fact that Harvey has one...

If anyone on the forum is thinking about bidding on the Edison Ideal I can help you with picking it up. I live about 2 ½ hours from where it's located. I have spoken to the seller a few times and he also likes the idea of it being picked up. I can hold it for pickup at the Wayne NJ show or make other arrangements with you. Send me a PM if this is of interest to you. I have a few additional pictures also.

It went for over $14,000. Even though the buyer has to find a horn and crane, still a bargain. This variation is very rare. I wonder if a Forum member who snagged this?

I am surprised that it didn't go much higher. Even without the horn and crane, this one was in exceptional condition. I hope someone on the Forum got it.
