I've purchased a couple dozen record lots from SHOPGOODWILL.COM, Goodwill's online auction, and each time they were packaged very well and arrived safely. I've bought 78s from many different Goodwill stores around the country via their auction site and the packing is consistently good.

On the other hand, I bought a nice small phonograph from a Goodwill in Nebraska and they sent me a typewriter. Eventually, I did get the phonograph, and it was packaged well.

My mom used to say that EBay charges too much. Of course,it's no bargain,as another friend says. But you can find great things on there.edisonplayer

Without eBay & various other auction sites I wouldn't have been able to get an inexpensive machine to start this addiction.
