The only Amberola that plays 2 minute records is the 1A, and that requires an M reproducer.
And a fair amount of $$$ Jerry

Many good suggestions above. The only thing I
would notdo is look for a conversion kit to update a two minute machine. Buy an already converted two minute machine or a combination model or an Amberola. There are fewer and fewer clean straight two minute machines out there and not every one should be converted and drilled for a cygnet.
Homes, Standards, Firesides, Amberola 50 are all good choices. I'm not a fan of the Amb. 30. If you have more money to spend go for a Triumph imho.

I have to agree, I love untouched two minute machines. There is nothing worse than seeing say and Edison Spring Motor machine or early A home all updated with 2/4 minute gearing and a later carriage, I lose interest in the machine, I guess it is fine, if it was done in the era, but when one takes the automatic reproducer out and adds the non adjustment carriage and a winged C or regular C nowadays, that irks me. Find an already converted machine. The Standard D is a nice machine, or D Home, or better D or F Triumph is nice with O reproducer.
