You should try to get one of those MusicalPhone Records mentioned above by Roaring20s to go with it. I'm sure you could find one on eBAY for not too much.

Regarding US Lakeside's question, I'm wondering if the similar machine you saw with a morningglory horn was in fact a Standard Model X? They were configured that way with a black horn as I recall.

Definitely not a standard. It had a blue horn and I'm fairly certain it had a yellow throat. I recall it selling for about $700 which seemed like a deal considering its rarity. Same decal at the one in this thread.

It has almost got to be a Columbia client machine. The tone arm assembly and reproducer look pretty much identical to the ones on my Columbia BH too, save for the difference in the name in the casting. In any event something neat to have.
