Nothing on the back and it does appear to be an insert or something that was sent out as is, not a page removed from anything.

What does TIPS stand for? Is it an acronym?

The photo you have of the "jubiliee Year" handwriting came from me. I have since framed it with a copy of the ad found in the Christmas Tips publication. Good guess work as to the year, 1927. Mystery solved!

Great display, Scott! I had failed to put your name on my archived photo, I'll add that for future reference.

I don't know if there was any acronym behind the name Tips but I suspect not. It probably just meant 'suggestions to help sell'. The logo was in Edison's handwriting.

I found xeroxes of the one I had. Better than the poor photo but no color. I can't believe it's almost 20 years since I owned that. I do wish I had kept it.
