So from now on it's only Disc-O-File sleeves for me. And in my opinion they're not that expensive. The standard ones are 50 cents per sleeve, not a lot when I compare it to the value of the records they're protecting.
I completely understand that they would make a lot of sense for collectors of valuable records. The very few valuable records I have are also in higher quality sleeves. But the majority of my records are of the bulk variety, pretty common, well worn, used to play on phonographs with steel needles. It does not make sense for me to keep them in sleeves that cost more than the records. I still want to protect them and for those the sleeves from bagsunlimited are perfect. And in the US they ship for free.

Clay, I understand that an overseas purchase will kill you with VAT and duties (just as it does with me if I order a batch of disc-o-files in the US) but perhaps you may want to take a look at this product:

Of course it is VERY expensive (but, as said by others, wether it has to be considered "expensive" or not depends on what record you put in it, in first place!)

These are ultra deluxe. I have an advertising Diamond Disc reproduction that came in one. However they are really overkill for normal recordings.

Thanks for your input. I am thinking I will be going with the Disk O File sleeves, when I get done inventorying my records. They are more expensive then other sleeves, but I like the fact there are different sizes for the different records. This will help keep my growing collection nice neat and good looking.
