From what I've unearthed so far, it seems so. But Dr. Z also bought a lot of stuff that he shouldn't have. I used to tease him and tell him that he's not buying scrap metal by the pound, he should go more for quality than sheer size and weight. But every collector has their reasons; I always keep in mind that absolutely none of this stuff is necessary in "real life".

Now, now, Marco, your inquiries are never in that category!
The person I was referring to before kindly apologized for his impatience. Life goes on.
I've given members of this Forum a great opportunity and many have responded. A number of sales have already taken place. But please keep in mind, I am a one-man band, and the day only has 24 hours. Starting Saturday, for 3 or 4 days, I will be extremely busy getting the other 90% of the collection and may not be able to give detailed responses. So, if possible, please wait until next week with any inquiries.

The responses to my initial TMF post have been almost overwhelming, to say the least. It's been a busy week and a number of items have already been sold and shipped to Forum members.
We will start the transfer from Dr. Z's homes to my warehouses of the remaining 90% tomorrow, a process that will take me, four workers, a box truck and a couple of trailers several days to accomplish. Then the real work of sorting, testing, evaluating and photographing each item in detail will begin.
As soon as I can manage, inventory lists will be posted on the last page of my website:
http://musicaltreasuresofmiami.com/esta ... ction.html
The items shown in photographs have been fully vetted and are ready to sell.
For now, please hold off on further "wish list" inquiries until I get things organized, which should be in a few weeks time.
Thanks,
Raphael

We are still working on the transfer, with over 400 machines removed so far. We expect to finish today and begin the cataloguing process tomorrow. There is quite a variety of stuff, and we expect by February 1 the items should rapidly start showing up on the website.

I must apologize as this project has overwhelmed me, physically and otherwise. Last week I had two dealer/friends visiting, and then the Orlando show, etc.
A lot of items have been sold, but much remains. I have 8 storage units brimming with stuff.
In order to catch up I removed the website page dealing with the estate collection. Hopefully, it will be resurrected by February 15. There will be Columbias, Victors, Edisons and Pathés galore.
If anybody is waiting for a response regarding specific items, please contact me by email and I will deal with those on a priority basis.
Thanks,
Raphael

Raphael, I'm sure that you're doing the family a very welcome service. Sometimes I wonder how my collectibles will be disposed of once I don't care for them any more.
Is there an eBay store that I can follow?

I currently have nothing on eBay, and very little, if any, of this collection will be put there in the future.

Yes, smart move- definitely not worth the risk of losing things to eBay and the Pal.
