The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Hello,
Several times I have looked up a Forum members profile only to find that it was blank. Profiles should be filled in as I think it makes a more personable connection between members. I also like to know what other interests members have and how old they are. Last year I was emailing back and forth about a part I had for sale and was surprised when the member said he could not afford the postage. Only then did I find out he was only 14 years old. It would be helpful to know if you are talking to a teenage newbie or a seasoned collector.

Knowing where some forum members live has been helpful to me. Here in Indiana, it has helped me connect with several collectors in the area. It is enjoyable to meet others who enjoy the hobby and have knowledge and experiences to share.
